Customer Reviews about Bloom Kenneth DPM
- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I don't want to call a man with the title "Dr." an idiot but this guy comes pretty close. I set up an appt. with him almost 2 months ago to see about some pain I was experiencing in my right foot. He poked my foot in a few different places, asked about the pain, and then assured me that it was merely some minor inflammation. Thus, he prescribed a pair of expensive Hoka shoes (coincidentally from the running store right across the street) for increased support as well as gave me some extra strength anti-inflammatories to take twice daily until the bottle runs out. Then he told me to come back in 3 weeks to check it again. Doc's bill $200, shoe bill $120. So I buy the new shoes and wear them religiously (as well as regularly take the meds) to try and fix my foot as quickly as possible. My foot felt great while wearing the shoes, but after 3 weeks my foot felt just the same without the shoes on. I set up another appt. with Dr. Bloom and tell him about how my foot feels good with the shoes on but that it technically hasn't improved because it feels the exact same pain without the shoe on. His response "Yeah...you probably just shouldn't take the shoes off." I'm thinking ".....what? Are you literally trying to tell me that your best solution to this "minor inflammation problem" is to just indefinitely wear this single pair of shoes???" Then he tells me to just keep wearing them and taking the anti-inflammatories and come back in another 3-5 weeks. Second Doc's bill $103.00. So now I'm 2 months into a foot injury that is apparently just "minor inflammation," I've spent over $400 on Dr. Bloom and his suggestions, and I've essentially seen zero improvement. I will not be returning to Dr. Bloom until I feel like wasting more money on "suggestions" and will instead be looking for a podiatrist with actual solutions.March 13, 2017by Raymond Link
